Opinion: Why MMOs SUCK!

Game developers promised games that will not only showcase good RPG (role playing game) element but also social interaction. Now they have given us MMOs or Massively Multiplayer Online were people got stuck in Wonderland in no time and make cult- 'ish' community were they praise "Imbaness" and how the game rocks.

Now MMO players are stuck in their stasis pods, playing Female characters in RPGs which gives them boner; and theoretically Heart Problems.



My point is MMOs destroys what a video game really is, an interactive story telling program were you get to finish the story satisfied. Why? MMOs will take all your time to play madness and never ending grinding. And its totally pointless, you will suffer from slow leveling periods and will make you pay just to avail a 1.2 exp bonus for 50 bucks and then after you reach the said level cap, you just sit there and let people praise you, and then you just never knew all your fun is gone, just poof, and your 50 bucks! You never get to finish the story plus you are mentally tired. What's a game without ending? Just a like a movie with hanging endings all you get is disappointment and worse, this time there is no sequel.


And now not only MMORPGs but MMO FPS (wut?!). While there is simply some games with online multiplayer, but some freaks made stand alone Multiplayer FPS (first person shooter) with sucking game engine and cardboard backgrounds (Im talking about Special Force, if you don't know this game good for you).


MMOs really changed the way gaming is, but for me it changed for worse. Thou you can find some good MMOs there like, for me Ragnarok, this game has an immense gameplay and complete uniqueness from other games, it has been up for nearly 10 years the longest running MMORPG for all time (bows to it's gloryness) and on version 13 with 49 job classes and assures you fun ALL the TIME even you reach level cap you'll enjoy it's guild war system called WOE which is also 8 year old system. RIFT is also an exception. And another exception the legendary WoW (gosh Warcraft needs to get back into RTS bussiness) since I don't want to anger WoW fans and especially Addriane Curry, America's Next Top Model is playing this (shit). Now if you want to look what WoW players are and why I don't want to anger them,
